The new generation of cutting and sealing technologies has evolved significantly over the last 5 years, and particularly in the last year or so. Traditional monopolar and bipolar certainly still work, but ultrasonic energy systems and advanced/bipolar sealing systems are safer, less traumatic to tissue and more physician-friendly than ever before. Here's an update on what's new.
