Autoclave

This Autoclave Maximizes Efficiencies

The new tabletop T-Edge 10 Autoclave boasts a 10-inch chamber size and 32-minute cycle times — the largest capacity and the fastest times of comparably sized units, says manufacturer Tuttnauer. Its door opens to 110 degrees, making loading instruments convenient and easy. You can monitor device processing remotely and in real time on smartphones or tablets. The autoclave reduces water consumption by up to 40%, making it an environmentally friendly option. Its intuitive touchscreen control panel displays programs, cycle times and water levels, among other useful information. Barcode traceability allows for the tracking and recording of instrument sterilization cycles and expiration date information.

electrosurgery

Easier, faster and safer electrosurgery

The BiPad is a low-profile and ergonomic hand-activated switch for controlling bipolar forceps. The device, which is compatible with most two-pronged forceps and electrocautery generators, shortens the time needed to activate coagulation, thereby reducing blood loss. Handheld control of bipolar forceps also eliminates traditional foot pedal activation and the need to repeatedly reposition the foot pedal under the table — a time-consuming and often frustrating aspect of electrosurgery procedures.

Hand Sanitizer

Make Your Own Hand Sanitizer

Medi-Dose/EPS has added gallon and half-gallon solution bottles to its line of liquid packaging containers. The new additions are perfect for making large quantities of hand sanitizer during the COVID-19 pandemic and mixing large volumes of cleaning solutions or other liquids. The bottles are made from durable, high-density polyethylene and available in natural and white colors. Half-gallon bottles are packaged in cases of eight and gallon bottles come four to a case.
