Police have yet to identify the assailant or the victims, though they said that a female physician was among the wounded. Both victims were in surgery and are in in critical condition, police said. Police haven't suggested a motive for the attack, they say it was not random.

The gunman stormed the urology office of Center for Advanced Medicine and Neurology shortly after 2 p.m., police said. The office is on the third floor of a medical building at Renown Regional Medical Center.

The incident follows by 3 weeks the fatal stabbing of a nurse at a Longview, Texas, ASC. One of the 3 visitors also stabbed in the attack later died.
