Calif.-based non-profit seeks 2 orthopods to join medical mission scheduled for August.

Categories: Orthopedics, News

A medical non-profit group is seeking 2 orthopedic surgeons to join a 10-day medical mission to Nicaragua in August 2011.

International Medical Alliance, based in Rancho Mirage, Calif., is still looking for 2 orthopods to round out the diverse team of more than 60 doctors, nurses, dentists and support staff who have already agreed to volunteer their time and talents in Esteli, Nicaragua, from Aug. 4-14, says IMA President Ines Allen.

Volunteers must pay their own airfare, but the Nicaraguan government will provide their room and board in Esteli.

To volunteer or get more information on the Nicaragua trip and other IMA missions, call Ms. Allen at (760) 485-8963 or visit the non-profit's website.
