Instruments
The latest in minimally invasive surgery's continuing evolution.
David Renton, MD

Many of the devices featured on the following pages incorporate two ideals that surgeons strive for: patient safety and less operative time. As the techniques and practices of minimally invasive surgery continue to evolve, our instruments and approaches to common problems will have to keep pace.

Some of these new devices simply incorporate old ideas into a new platform. Others offer fresh, innovative solutions to clinical needs. As more and more instrument options become available, whether new or an improvement on the old, our collective goal of better serving our patients will be better realized.
