Do Your Anesthesia Providers Go Above and Beyond?
Re: "A Little Something Extra" (November, page 20). Remember that all the time taken in these ancillary duties is time away from providing anesthesia care. Staffing levels must reflect that change, unless there is sufficient downtime or turnover time to incorporate added duties, which may reflect other issues.
