Endangered Species?

You've probably heard the grim staffing studies on the state of surgical nursing, given an aging workforce and a shrinking pool of qualified replacements. Perhaps you've observed the trend firsthand. While these reports are certainly cause for concern, I wouldn't be much of an OR nurse if I didn't respond to the usual charges they level against our profession.
