Disposable vs. Laundered Textiles

Should you toss that drape or gown away or save it for another use? Good question. Disposable products are less expensive, but can weigh down red bag waste. Laundered textiles are pricier, but some items can be reused up to 100 times. Both options are clinically effective and both impact the environment. While there's no clear-cut answer, here are 3 factors to consider when deciding between disposable and reusable surgical textiles.
