Is It Time to Recall Your Recall Policy?

Recent manufacturer recalls of several lots of propofol and the injectable NSAID ketorolac have highlighted the importance of having an effective policy for tracking and managing drug recalls in a timely fashion. Seize this moment to re-examine your policies and procedures. At a minimum, they should contain 3 elements.
