When pain pumps work well, as they generally do, you reap their many benefits. You can send patients home comfortable and in control of their pain while reducing your facility's post-op narcotic and nursing costs. Since pain pumps are one of the few pieces of equipment that patients operate themselves, however, their users may occasionally see complications. Here's what you can do to keep your patients satisfied.
