Decrease Your Colonoscopy Procedure Times

Colonoscopy procedure times are indicative not just of efficiency, but also of safety and patient satisfaction. Lengthy pre-procedure or wait times can irk patients, while longer post-procedure times may be associated with an overuse of medication or other complicating factors. The good news is that you can reduce your colonoscopy procedure times through several strategies suggested by a survey of 113 facilities that submitted information on more than 2,500 colonoscopies performed in 2008.
