Are Layoffs in Your Future?

Surgery centers and hospitals aren't immune to the effects of these bad economic times. You may experience decreases in case volume as patients delay elective surgery, shop around to compare costs for services they need or decide they don't have the money to cover co-pays. If surgical volume is down, you might need to decrease staffing costs. Keep these tips in mind when slashing your payroll.
