Avoid Staff Turnover's Hidden Costs

Hiring per diems, RNs fresh out of school or traveling nurses might be easy on your staffing budget in the short term, but it might lead to high staff turnover down the road. When an employee leaves, you'll waste valuable time and money finding and training her replacement. The key is to limit staff turnover from the outset, during the interviewing and vetting of new hires.
