Safety Resolutions You Need to Keep

Each year the Joint Commission assesses problematic areas in health care and updates its National Patient Safety Goals to give caregivers the evidence-based tools they need to correct the identified trouble spots. Here's a review of four surgery-related NPSGs that have been revised for 2009 and ways that you can incorporate the guidelines into your facility's clinical system.
