If your facility does not have a presence on the Internet, you are missing out on a vital tool for bringing information about your facility to both the general public and the professional community. A Harris poll conducted two years ago estimated that 60 million adults search the Internet for healthcare information each year; a figure that has grown in the time since the poll was conducted. Moreover, a recent American Medical Association survey of 977 physicians revealed that nearly 80 percent now utilize the Web and two-thirds do so on a daily basis.
