Where Will You Be a Year From Now?

Dan O'Connor, Editor-in-Chief

Dan O'Connor, Editor Before we set out to produce the 2003 Builder's Issue, we did a little research. We e-mailed a 16-question Web-based survey to the surgeons and facility managers who not so long ago were straddling the very fence that you are. Just as you are thinking about building or expanding a surgery center today, those entrepreneurs we surveyed were dreaming the same dream not so long ago.

We essentially wanted to find out two things:

  • What type of surgical facility did they build or expand.
  • What they wish they knew back then that they know now.
