The Backbone of Outpatient Spine

A spine facility's administrator should set the tone for the safe and successful treatment.

What makes a spine center tick? For one thing, the facility's administrator must be highly organized, vigilant in coding and billing practices, supportive of the staff and surgeons and, above all, committed to ensuring the safe and successful care of spine's high-acuity patients. Our facility has been open and operating for more than a year, our caseload is exploding and reimbursement is good. We have achieved our goal of developing an ambulatory surgery center and integrated medical practice. We've created a place that can handle a full spectrum of spine surgery on an outpatient basis. Here are some factors that have been vital to our facility's success.
