Bad Economy? What Bad Economy?

My center is flourishing during the current recession. So can yours.

Perhaps you've heard the economy is tanking, reimbursements for many procedures are dropping and surgical revenues are heading in the opposite direction of supply costs. The moans and groans make it seem like it's impossible to run a successful surgery center. But it's more than possible. In fact, my center's annual profits have grown 2% to 5% over the past 3 years. Our case volume has increased 5% to 10% over the same time period. Here are a few strategies that have kept our heads well above water and positioned our center for even more financial success when the economy inevitably rights itself.
