Cataract patients and medical transport companies

Some of our cataract patients travel a long distance and subsequently stay in a hotel after surgery. They are often unaccompanied by a responsible adult, choosing instead to hire a medical transport company to take them to their destinations. They could potentially be at risk during the ride, and they have no one to care for them during their hotel stays. Does anyone use a medical transport company? If so, what is your policy?
