Be absolutely sure that your flexible endoscopes are completely clean with Channel-Check^™ from Healthmark. The test strip tests for common organic soils, including blood, protein and carbohydrates. The procedure involves injecting water into each endoscope channel, capturing the water into a Zip-Loc bag, dipping a test strip inside, then reading the results. If any pad indicates the presence of soils, then reclean the instrument and retest. A "clean" test result may help protect your facility from litigation.
