Taking the Road Less Traveled to ASC Success
How a self-described "mom and pop" dermatology practice converted a three-story credit union into one of the most unique ASCs you'll ever see.

MEDIA, PA. - The biggest lesson I've learned as administrator of The Sally Balin Ambulatory Surgical Center over our first five years? That's easy. There's no such thing as a cookie cutter approach to success in an ASC venture. Even our 15,000 square foot building, a labyrinth-like three-story structure, is unique.

The ASC encompasses 3,700 square feet of the facility and is one portion of a larger entity called The Sally Balin Medical Center, combining the surgicenter, the physicians' medical practice, research labs and teaching areas under one roof.
