NPPE is real and more common than you'd like to think

Re: "NPPE: Anesthesia's Overlooked Complication" (October, page 50). This was a great article. I've seen NPPE in four or five under-30 patients over the last 10 years, but a lot of my staff have never experienced it. This is truly one of those unexpected complications that can occur even with vigilant anesthesia providers. I'll be using this article as an in-service.
