RMV->)Knowing that it's both expensive and a hassle to ensure that all OR staff are up-to-date on their basic life support certification, three of my colleagues and I signed up when my hospital's education department announced an opening for American Heart Association Instructor training. Our goal was to provide CPR certification and re-certification for all 45 members of our perioperative staff. Getting our instructor certifications was the first step.
