Any surgeon who does a hundred knee replacements a year has 80 that he loves and 20 that he's, well, less in love with. Sometimes it's that the patient didn't take proper care of himself post-op, but more often it's that the implant is misaligned a smidge, causing the soft-tissue imbalance that leads to a less-than-optimum outcome.
